Genomics WA is a new joint initiative launched through a partnership between the University of Western Australia (UWA), the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research (HPIMR), and the Telethon Kids Institute (TKI) to provide consultation, expert advice and streamlined library preparation, next generation sequencing and data analysis services; available to all WA researchers. Genomics WA is a node of the BioPlatforms Australia’s nationally distributed genomics network.

Genomics WA team is comprised of wet lab scientific officers and bioinformaticians with extensive experience in genomics technologies and data analysis. An executive board including members from partner institutions in WA oversees Genomics WA. Genomics WA is steered by WA experts in genomics and data analysis from diverse fields as well as IT specialists from partner institutions.
